About Company
Operations and Capabilities :
The Company operates across India and focuses on producing fast-moving, high-quality apparel tailored for online marketplaces. In addition to manufacturing, Fractal Industries offers integrated support services including product and order management, inventory and return handling, logistics integration, data analytics, multi-channel sales support, and order anomaly detection.
Business Models :
Outright Sale Model
Under this model, the Company manufactures garments and sells them in bulk to e-commerce platforms. Ownership of products transfers to the platform, which manages warehousing, order fulfillment, delivery, and returns.
PPMP (Pure Play Marketplace) Model
The Company designs and manufactures garments under the marketplace’s in-house brands. It manages the entire value chain, including demand forecasting, manufacturing, warehousing, and delivery, with orders dispatched within 48 hours as per platform guidelines.
Direct-to-Consumer (Own Brand) Model
Fractal Industries has launched its own apparel brand, “7ate9” (from May 26, 2025). Under this model, the Company sells directly to customers through e-commerce platforms, manages inventory, and handles end-to-end order fulfillment and customer service.
Strength
Cost Leadership and Operational Efficiency: The Company focuses on low-cost raw material sourcing, lean manufacturing, and cluster-based production, supported by efficient supply chain management. Bulk logistics, vendor consolidation, and route optimization help maintain cost competitiveness and timely deliveries.
Product Innovation and Differentiation: Innovation in fabrics, performance wear, and sustainable materials enables differentiation. An agile supply chain supports fast inventory movement, quick replenishment, and efficient integration with e-commerce platforms.
Strong Branding and Omnichannel Presence: A strong brand and integrated online-offline retail presence enhance customer loyalty. Efficient supply chain operations ensure consistent product availability and reliable last-mile delivery, supporting both retail and D2C models.
Weakness
Dependence on Online Marketplaces and Warehousing: The Company relies heavily on online marketplaces and efficient warehouse operations for order fulfilment. Any disruption in marketplace policies or warehouse inefficiencies could adversely impact operations and financial performance.
Cybersecurity and Data Protection Risks: Technology-driven warehouse and supply chain systems expose the Company to cybersecurity and data protection risks. Any breach or system failure could disrupt operations and harm reputation.
Risk from Changing Fashion Trends: Sales are dependent on online apparel demand, which is influenced by changing fashion trends and consumer preferences. Shifts in demand or seasonal trends may adversely affect sales and profitability.
