B. D. Industries (Pune) Limited, incorporated in 1984, is engaged in the manufacturing of rotationally molded plastic products catering to various industrial applications.

Product Portfolio:

• Plastic Fuel Tanks
  Designed for vehicles, motorcycles, agricultural machinery, industrial equipment, and marine applications. These tanks are lightweight, corrosion-resistant, cost-effective, and can be customized for different vehicle designs.

• Automotive & Industrial Components
  Includes tractor fenders, transmission covers, urea tanks, battery boxes, door panels, bus seats, 2-meter barricades, mudguards, and cabin roofs with sunroofs — built for durability and safety.

• Plastic Pallets
  Used across FMCG, pharmaceutical, e-commerce, electronics, automotive, and chemical industries due to their hygiene, strength, and easy maintenance, suitable for sensitive and perishable goods.

Manufacturing Footprint:

The company operates three facilities located in Pune (Maharashtra), Dewas (Madhya Pradesh), and Hoshiarpur (Punjab). A fourth plant is under construction in Zaheerabad (Telangana) to support expansion and meet diverse customer demands.

Human Resource:

As of May 31, 2025, the company employed a total of 98 personnel.

Strength

Weakness

No Finalized Machinery Purchase Agreements: The company has not yet signed agreements for machinery purchases worth ₹540 lakhs. Delay in procurement or cost overruns due to expired quotations or price inflation may impact operations and expansion plans.

Lease Dependency for Key Facilities: The Dewas manufacturing unit and Mumbai registered office are on lease. Non-renewal or termination of these leases could disrupt operations and lead to increased costs for relocation.

Director’s Past Association with Struck-Off Companies: An Independent Director was linked to companies previously struck off by the RoC. Any future litigation or penalties related to those firms could negatively affect the company’s reputation and financial standing.
