NSDL Database Management Limited (NDML) was incorporated in June 2004 as a wholly owned subsidiary of NSDL (National Securities Depository Limited). NSDL, one of the largest depositories in the world, commenced operations in August 1996 and has created a state-of-the-art infrastructure to manage the majority of securities held and traded in the Indian capital market in a dematerialized form.
