Incorporated in April 2022, NTPC Green Energy Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of NTPC Limited, is dedicated to advancing renewable energy projects across India through both organic and inorganic growth strategies. As of August 31, 2024, the company achieved an operational capacity of 3,071 MW in solar energy and 100 MW in wind energy across six states. By June 30, 2024, its renewable portfolio totaled 14,696 MW, comprising 2,925 MW in operation and 11,771 MW in contracted and awarded projects under construction across seven states.
